Wellness Practices & Routines I Am Bringing Into 2026

January always feels like a fresh slate, the perfect time to set intentions that nourish your mind, body, and overall wellness. This year, I’ve been curating wellness routines that feel both luxurious and doable, incorporating small but intentional habits that make every day feel elevated without stress. Your wellness routine shouldn’t feel daunting or overwhelming, but should help make you feel amazing and like you’re living your best life. 2026 is the year of romanticizing your life!

Morning Routine

Mornings are my foundation, so I start by waking up with a sunrise alarm by Hatch that gradually fills the room with light, mimicking natural sunlight. It’s a gentle, energizing way to rise, leaving me more present and ready to move. I love to wear matching PJ sets to feel more put together, and of course I enjoy my coffee in one of my favorite mugs. Something I’ve added into my routines is red light therapy, which you could do morning or night. Another thing I’m loving is the new Olly body washes with vitamins and amazing ingredients. I am a huge fan of implementing high quality body/skincare into my morning routine so everyday feels like a luxurious, spa experience. I always like to set the tone for my day with a gratitude journal/devotional books as well.

Organization Equals Clarity

Staying organized has been transformative for both mental wellness and productivity. I use a planner for scheduling and a habit calendar to track water intake, movement, sleep, and self-care check-ins My oura ring helps me track these things. Color-coding tasks and habits makes my day visually satisfying and motivates me to stick to routines. Seeing progress in real time, even for small wins, keeps momentum high and reinforces that wellness is about consistency, not perfection.

Movement That Feels Good

Moving your body doesn’t have to be a chore. I lace up cutie tennis shoes, which somehow makes every step feel more intentional, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, errands, or pacing while brainstorming ideas. For subtle strength building, I wear a weighted vest during walks and use wrist weights for added resistance during home routines. On days when I can’t make it outside, my walking pad by my living space allows me to get steps in while listening to podcasts or catching up on shows. These small additions keep movement consistent, energizing, and enjoyable without ever feeling like a workout obligation. Another thing that motivates me to get a workout in at home, is cute, colorful workout gear, and even colorful weights/dumbbells.

Weighted vests have become a favorite wellness tool because they make everyday movement more effective and intentional. By adding subtle resistance to walks, bodyweight exercises, or even household routines, they help build strength in the legs, core, and back while boosting calorie burn. They also support better posture and stability by engaging muscles more deeply, and the added weight can even promote bone density over time. The best part is that they turn simple, low-impact movement into a more purposeful practice, making it easy to incorporate strength training into daily life without needing a gym.

Mindful Habits for Everyday Energy

Hydration, thoughtful snacks, and small joys support the bigger wellness picture. One of my favorite ways to make sure I’m getting enough water throughout the day is having a favorite water bottle like a Stanley or Owala. You can also incorporate protein in yummy snacks like David bars or Khloud popcorn to help you reach your protein goals. Something I’ve been doing as well is drinking my vitamins, superfoods, and supplements through drinks like Bloom or Beam. Wellness is not about restriction; it’s about creating a lifestyle that feels good and sustainable, and adding in yummy habits like these make it enjoyable too.

Creating Your Personalized Wellness

This year is about wellness that serves you, not stresses you out. Integrating intentional routines around movement, rest, organization, and self-care, combined with a few trending tools like red light therapy, weighted vests, wrist weights, walking pads, fresh sneakers, and planners, creates a rhythm that supports your energy, focus, and mental clarity. Start small, celebrate progress, and let flexibility guide your journey. Wellness isn’t perfect—it’s personal, and it’s about feeling your best in every moment.

xoxo,

Jena
