Everything I Wore on My Dream Trip to France

There’s something so magical about France. From the charming streets of Paris to the beaches of St. Tropez and the colorful coastline of Cannes, every stop felt completely different but equally beautiful. I’ve spent this trip soaking up every moment, eating incredible food, exploring new places, and, of course, planning lots of fun outfits along the way. I always get questions about what I pack for Europe, so I thought I’d share what I’ve been wearing throughout my trip and some of my favorite memories from each destination.

Paris Style Is Effortless

Paris has a way of making you want to keep everything simple. I found myself reaching for classic pieces that felt polished but comfortable enough for walking all day. Think lightweight dresses, linen separates, easy sandals, oversized sunglasses, and neutral accessories that worked with everything in my suitcase. The best part about Paris is that you never feel like you have to try too hard—simple always wins. Black was a safe option for dinners, even though it was pretty warm. I loved this little lacy number. Polka dots are super Paris coded as well.

St. Tropez Was Everything I Dreamed It Would Be

St. Tropez honestly felt like a postcard. Between the beach clubs, colorful streets, yachts, and the most beautiful blue water, it was one of those places that lives up to the hype. I packed lots of crochet pieces, matching sets, breezy dresses, and swimsuits with lightweight cover-ups that could easily go from the beach to lunch. My favorite outfit was definitely my white crochet set—it was comfortable, timeless, and fit the coastal vibe perfectly.

Cannes Was the Perfect Mix of Beach and Glamour

Cannes had such a fun mix of laid-back beach days and dressed-up evenings. During the day, I lived in swimsuits, breezy cover-ups, and easy matching sets while walking along the waterfront and spending time by the beach. At night, it was the perfect excuse to pull out flowy dresses, heels, and a few of my favorite accessories for dinner and sunset cocktails. I loved that every day felt relaxed, but every evening gave me a reason to dress up just a little. It was the perfect balance of casual vacation style and classic French elegance.

Linen Was the MVP of My Suitcase

If I could give one packing tip for France in the summer, it would be to bring linen. It kept me cool during long sightseeing days, packed easily, and somehow always looked put together. Linen button-downs, shorts, matching sets, and breezy dresses became the pieces I reached for over and over again.

The Accessories That Went With Everything

Instead of packing a different bag or pair of shoes for every outfit, I kept my accessories pretty simple. A woven bag, neutral sandals, oversized sunglasses, and gold jewelry matched almost everything I brought. It made getting dressed so much easier and saved so much room in my suitcase.

Beach Days Were Some of My Favorites

Some of my favorite moments from this trip were the slower ones. Spending the day by the water, relaxing at beach clubs, swimming in the Mediterranean, and enjoying long lunches with beautiful views reminded me why I love traveling so much. I packed a few bikinis with crochet skirts, sarongs, and lightweight cover-ups so I could easily throw something on and head to lunch without needing a full outfit change.

What I Packed

Looking back, I’m so glad I focused on versatile pieces. Crochet sets, linen outfits, colorful maxi dresses, neutral basics, swimsuits with matching cover-ups, comfortable sandals, and a few statement accessories gave me so many different outfit combinations throughout the trip. Everything mixed together effortlessly, which made getting dressed in France every morning so easy. But I definitely still overpacked a little!

France has been everything I hoped it would be and more. Every city has had its own personality, from the timeless charm of Paris to the glamorous beaches of St. Tropez and the colorful coastal beauty of Cannes. I already know this is a trip I’ll never forget, and I can’t wait to share even more of my favorite places, outfits, and travel moments with you.

xoxo,

Jena
